 Frequently asked questions

What type of accommodation is provided?
  • A room in a shared house with shared bathroom facilities, communal kitchen, & living area.
 
How is accommodation funded?
  • Housing is funded through housing benefit payments. It is likely that you will need to have an active claim for Universal credit, JSA or ESA similar state benefits in order to qualify. Self-funded residents can also be accommodated.

Do I need to cover the cost of bills?
  • No these are included in the housing benefit claim. You will have to pay a top up for additional support needs not covered by housing benefit.

Will I need to furnish my own room?
  • No, houses are fully furnished.

Am I allowed visitors?
  • Yes however, to be mindful of others living in the property we ask residents to notify their peers prior to arrival. Overnight stays are not permitted.

What happens if I drink alcohol or use drugs?
  • You will be in breach of your license agreement and be asked to vacate the premises. This is for the safety of the other residents.

How long can I stay for?
  • We would expect our residents to be with us for around 6-24 months, depending on individual needs.

How old do I need to be?
  • We accept residents from 18-65 years of age
